ppds.net - the Web Browser Application

For those potential clients whose use for thermodynamic data is either sporadic or whose budget cannot warrant an expenditure on the full PPDS lease, we have developed a low-cost alternative to the main PPDS application This is ppds.net, an on-line thermodynamic calculator that will carry out a range of common calculations on the fluid properties of pure components and their mixtures. ppds.net only requires access to the internet via a standard browser. The ppds.net calculator carries out phase equilibria and property calculations, it is simple to use, plots graphs and allows the user to save the results and download a report of the calculations to the client PC. You can now purchase 60 minutes of access to the PPDS calculation engine and associated databanks for only £10. Your time need not be used up at one visit.

The browser application is more fully described as part of the PPDS Suite of products as it is an implementation of a browser based client to the PPDS Thermoserver.

Variations of this product are available to deploy on company intranets. To date a number of companies have taken this approach and have deployed customised implementations. Some of these implementations are described in the Bespoke Solutions section of the product list.
