NEL Club Websites

club sites logosThe global nature of many of the programmes that TUV NEL Ltd is involved with makes the dissemination of information awkward. To facilitate the movement of information TUV NEL Ltd has been using electronic methods to supplement its more traditional methods of communication for a number of years. The existence of an easily navigated website is an essential aspect of our electronic communications toolset.

In mid 2003 the Software Products Centre were asked to aid in the design of a website for a new club formed to promote optimisation of site utilities – the Utilities Optimisation Club.

Centre staff would design the structure for the site and maintain all technical aspects of the website. This would leave the TUV NEL specialists involved in the club free to focus on providing content.

Following the success of this method of site development it was then extended to both the Produced Water Club and the Flare Gas Club websites and then finally to the Flow Programme website.

It was shown that this method of site development and maintenance allowed the content providers greater ease in providing new content (the main purpose of the sites) while maintaining consistency and functionality.

Ultimately all of the websites run on behalf of TUV NEL Ltd projects will follow this design method.
