When new items are posted onto the website, the headlines are automatically added to the newsfeed and subscribers are notified about the new item with a short headline and a link to the article on the website. This notification is done through a tool similar to a web browser called a News aggregator. Aggregators are widely, and often freely, available on the web. Once your aggregator is installed, you need to subscribe to our news feed. Subscription is free and fairly straightforward. The actual process will differ from tool to tool but basically involves adding a link to our feed (hint: right click the “XML/RSS” logo alongside and copy the shortcut) into the aggregator. Once the link is added the aggregator should download the current headline list.
